An accomplished speaker and presenter, Fred Diamond is well-networked and has served as a chairman on the Northern Virginia Technology Council (NVTC) Business Development, Marketing and Sales committee.  He has served on the board of the Emory University Alumni Association and as a mentor for the American Marketing Association (AMA).  He was the inaugural president of the Washington DC chapter of the Marketing Executive Networking Group (MENG) and served on the organization's national board. Mr. Diamond has an MBA from San Jose State University and a BA from Emory University in Atlanta, GA. He is the founder of the Northern Virginia (Lead Share and) Business Development Group (NVBDG). He serves on the Northern Virginia Family Service (NVFS) annual gala committee.

He is on the faculty as a marketing instructor at the University of Phoenix.

Marc Palombo, Sales and Business Development

Marc Palombo is the current CEO of Sales Agent, LLC. Palombo holds a Masters of Science in Technology Management and a Masters in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. He has been selling server-based computing and thin client technologies for over 12 years holding positions with Wyse Technologies, Citrix Systems as well as a former Citrix reseller and one of Citrix’s first distribution partners. Palombo was the former Southeast Regional Field Sales Manager for Citrix Systems and a former Director of Sales for Visual Insights. He not only has experience in managing salespeople; he also has extensive experience in the area of Federal Government sales, enterprise selling into Fortune 500 commercial accounts, and channel marketing. Palombo has worked at a number of start-ups in the past and been involved in the creation of reseller channel programs, end user demand generation initiatives, and strategic marketing plans.

Joseph Rizzo, Digital Marketing

Throughout his 18 year career, Joe has concentrated his efforts in working with small to mid-size organizations that competed within the technology, wholesaling and industrial goods arena, marketing into the OEM, business or consumer markets as a part of the marketing team with the manufacturer or with the channel.  He has always been a user and purveyor of advanced digital marketing tools: he spearheaded the development of a fully integrated eCommerce-enabled web site in 1996; he developed his own proprietary email survey form in 1994; he was one of the first experimenters using banner ad campaigns and email campaigns. As a result, he has a well-rounded background with a broad base of digital and traditional marketing experiences to draw upon to develop solutions for the various challenges faced by a company attempting to leap to the next level.  His expertise includes: successful marketing management in the areas of enterprise software products, consumer software products, consumer hardware products, and business services offerings; product management with P/L focus of a variety of B-to-B and B-to-C products and services; and building and P/L management of programs focused on reselling into business and consumer markets.

Steven Valley, Graphic Designer

With over 18 years of professional experience and 4 years of teaching Visual Communications, Steve Valley has become one of DC’s most sought after graphics designers. His domain of expertise spans concept development, illustration, print buying, production, web site development, HTML e-mail creation, video editing, Flash animation, Power Point, copy writing, and 3-D illustration. In addition to being able to do all of the above, he’s developed an extensive network of vendors and professional artists, which means he creates and delivers targeted materials that get results faster and within budget limitations.

He’s developed award-winning materials for National Trade Productions, MicroStrategy, OneSoft Corporation, and the Washington Business Hall of Fame. Along the way, he’s played a major role in helping companies develop IPO and investor relations’ materials. In addition to his professional experience he also has over three years of experience as a full time and Adjunct Professor for Gibbs College and Mary Mount University teaching courses in Computer Graphics, Typography, and Design included reviewing graduating senior portfolios, participating in the University Arts Advisory Program, guest lecturing, and mentoring Graphic Interns.  He’s received six industry and association awards and honorable mentions with work published in a software “how-to” book.
